Creative Minds Youth Contest Peel 2020

Dear Students and Educators,

Intercultural Dialogue Institute GTA in partnership with Peel District School Board and Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board announces its 7th Annual Creative Minds Youth Contest in Peel Region. This year’s theme is “Creating Safe Spaces: Countering Racism and Discrimination”. We invite secondary school students from the partner school boards to take part in the contest. Submissions will be accepted in four categories: art, essay, short video, and social project. Deadline for submissions is April 13th, 2020.

Winners of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in all three categories in Peel Region will have an opportunity to participate in Creative Minds Youth Contest GTA which will be held in the Fall of 2020 (more details to come).

Creative Minds Contest aims to engage students, intellectually and artistically, in a wide range of themes and give them a unique opportunity to express their ideas through their creative pieces. It is expected to make a positive impact in preparing youth to be empathetic and responsible citizens of their communities and the globe.
